Microsoft Windows Plug 'n Play can sometimes create more than one instance of a Hardware Device that is routinely unplugged and plugged back into a computer. To resolve this issue, please perform the following steps:
- With the Aircard plugged into the computer, click Start - Control Panel - Phone and Modem Options.
- Click the Modems tab.
- Select each instance of the Aircard and click remove.
- When finished removing all instances of the Aircard, click OK.
- Double-click System Control Panel - Device Manager.
- Expand Modems and insure the Aircard is no longer present.
- Right-mouse click the Hostname of the computer and select Scan for hardware changes. A single instance of the Aircard is detected and installed.
This issue has been resolved.
