How do you renew Trend Micro Worry Free Business Security?

There are two versions of Trend Micro Worry Free Business Security - Standard and Advanced.  Standard is designed for those locations that do not utilize Microsoft Exchange Server.  Advanced is designed for those locations that do utilize Microsoft Exchange Server.  The version of Trend Micro Worry Free Business Security in use at your location is listed on your Trend Micro Software License Certificate.

The 1 Year Renewal Part Number for Standard is CSRN0051.
The 1 Year Renewal Part Number for Advanced is CMRN0044.

To identify the date of renewal for your product, please read Section II.

Section I. Renewing Trend Micro Worry Free Business Security


When placing your renewal with BuyCheapSoftware, please emphasize in the BuyCheapSoftware Order Notes field that you are renewing your existing licenses not adding new licenses.  This should be evident to the vendor by the part number that is being utilized but we have found that we need to emphasize this point when placing the order with some vendors.

To renew Trend Micro Worry Free Business Security, please perform the following steps:
  1. If you are renewing Standard, browse to: 
    Trend Micro Standard Renewal Part Number CSRN0051

    If you are renewing Advanced, browse to:
    Trend Micro Advanced Renewal Part Number CMRN0044

  2. Click Add Cart.

  3. In the Quantity field, enter the number of licenses that you require for your Location.  You require a license for the Server and all other computers that use Trend Micro Worry Free Business Security.

  4. Click the Recalculate button.

  5. Click the Checkout button.

  6. Select your Payment Method and then click the Continue Checkout button.

  7. In the Credit Card Number field, type your credit card number.

  8. In the Expires Mo/Year field, enter the Month/Year of Expiration.

  9. In the Security Code field, enter the Security Code on the back of your Credit Card.

  10. In the PO Number field, enter the PO Number listed on your Trend Micro Software License Certificate.

  11. In the Alternate License Address, enter the Name and Address of your Location.

  12. In the Additional Information field, type the words Trend Micro Customer Number and the Customer Number listed on your Trend Micro Software License Certificate.  Also type the words Trend Micro Reference Number and the Refrence Number listed on your Trend Micro Software License Certificate.

  13. Click the Continue Checkout button.

  14. Confirm your Order and click the Place Order button.

Section II.  Checking Trend Micro Worry Free Business Security Activation Status

Once you place an order with BuyCheapSoftware, you will receive a confirmation email of your order.  Normally within 24 to 48 hours, you will then receive an Adobe Acrobat PDF file containing your renewed Trend Micro Software License Certificate.  When you specify information above in your order, the Server license is normally updated automatically.  However it is important that you confirm this.  Once you receive your renewed Trend Micro Software License Certificate from Provantage, please perform the following steps:
  1. On the Server Desktop, double-click the Internet Explorer Shortcut entitled Worry-Free Business Security.

  2. Click Continue to this website.

  3. If you are prompted with a Security Warning, click No.

  4. In the password field, enter the password for your Trend Micro Worry Free Business Security installation.  If you do not know your password, please call and we will be happy to assist you.

  5. Maximize the Internet Explorer window so that you can see the entire page.

  6. Click the Preferences button found in the upper right-hand corner.

  7. In the drop-down list, click the Product License button.

  8. Click the Check Status Online button.

  9. If you are prompted by a Security Warning, click No.

  10. In the Status field, the product should display as Activated.  Also take note of the Maintenance Expiration Date.  This date should reflect your renewal one year from now.  If not, you may need to enter a new code by clicking the Enter New Code hyperlink.  You can then enter the Trend Micro Worry Free Business Security Activation Code listed on your Trend Micro Software License Certificate.  It may also be listed as Registration Key on your Trend Micro Software License Certificate.  Please be sure to enter the Standard or Advanced Code/Key not the Hosted Code/Key.
You have successfully renewed Trend Micro Worry Free Business Security.
