The default installation of Microsoft Exchange Server 2010 does not designate the Offline Address Book. Therefore, Microsoft Outlook 2003 and other versions of Outlook will produce the following error upon Send/Receive: "Microsoft Exchange Server reported error 0x8004010F. The operation

- Open the Exchange Management Console.
- Expand Organization Configuration.
- Click Mailbox.
- Right-mouse click the Mailbox Database and select Properties.
- Click the Client Settings tab.
- Offline Address Book - click Browse.
- Select Default Offline Address Book.
- Click OK.
- Wait a few minutes for Exchange Server to update.
- In Microsoft Outlook, select File - Exit.
- Re-open Microsoft Outlook and click Send/Receive.
