Some backup software programs such as Microsoft Backup and Symantec Backup Exec utilize the Microsoft Tape Backup Format (BKF). On occasion, you may find that the data contained within the BKF files cannot be restored using the normal restore process. When you attempt to run the restore process, the backup software reports that one or more backup files using the BKF format are corrupt. In a similar fashion as WinZip or WinRar, Get Data Repair My Backup was able to extract all of the files from within the BKF file format.
