You may encounter files with odd characters that will not delete. At times, these are hidden files that are within the User's Hidden Recycle Bin which will not allow the Recycle Bin to empty. On a stand-alone workstation, the recycle bin for all users is found at C:\Recycler. On a network using folder redirection, the files are found in the User's Home Directory under My Documents\Recycler. On a stand-alone workstation, you will need to go into Safe Mode and delete the files in question. On a Server, you may need to use a Boot CD such as Active Boot Disk which will allow you to gain access to the drive and delete the files in question.
