White or Yellow Screen And/Or Missing Colors When Using HDMI/DVI to VGA Cable

You may find that when you connect a computer to a monitor using the included HDMI/DVI to VGA Cable that the monitor displays a white or yellow screen and/or missing colors.  The HDMI/DVI cable provided by the manufacturer may have 16 pins.  A standard DVI-A cable uses 19 pins.  A DVI-A to VGA cable may use 17 pins.  There are two available cabling options to resolve the video problem:

Option #1

(1) DVI-A Male to HD15 VGA Female Adapter
(Connect Adapter to Computer Monitor)

(1) HD15 Male to HD15 Male VGA Cable
(Connect From Adapter to Computer Video Card)

Option #2

(1) DVI-A Male to HD15 VGA Male Video Cable
(Connect From Computer Monitor to Computer Video Card)

You may encounter the following error message when using the L2TP/IPSec VPN Client that is native to the Windows Operating System: "The L2TP connection attempt failed because the security layer encountered a processing error during initial negotiations with the remote computer."  This error message typically occurs when you are using the wrong Pre-Shared Key for your L2TP VPN.  This error message can occur when other components of your configuration are incorrect but the first thing to confirm is that you are using the correct Pre-Shared Key.
