When a graphics driver is not installed properly, a computer can run extremely slow. This typically happens because a graphics driver is installed on top of another graphics driver that has not been fully removed. Upon completion of installing the graphics driver, a computer is immediately slow. To quickly resolve this issue, you can perform a System Restore. You can also perform a clean install of the Nvidia Graphics Driver:
- Double-click the Nvidia Graphics Driver.
- Click Agree and Continue.
- Select Advanced
- Click Next.
- Click Perform A Clean Installation.
- Click Next.
